I read science news on the internet pretty much every day. I often think of the book, Futureshock which I read when it first came out. The Futureshock is so bad right now that almost everyone has sort of zoned out in one way or another. Specialization is a common way of dealing with the maelstrom of change blowing us away - compartmentalization, it is a way of ducking out of the furious winds of change.
Whether Barack Obama wants it or not, Change is bearing down upon us like the lights of an oncoming train, ha ha ha
a cyborg consciousness is right around the corner
so many different things popping now in so many different scientific fields and not only in America, Europe and Japan but literally all over the world. Supercomputers are increasing in number as well as power allowing access to more and a greater diversity of scientists.
I tell you that I can feel it in my bones - like a cold wind, like a precipice, like the moment before freefall, both thrilling and terrifying at the same time ... "something" is coming together that none of us expect, something literally beyond our human imagination ...
i hope and pray in the name of love that it will not be a Frankenstein Monster that will destroy not only us but all DNA within the entire biosphere - may whoever crosses this threshold do so in love and with all the wisdom of the plant world and respect and devotion to the Gaian Spirit of this planet - the spirit of life itself
for beings charged with life
there is only one journey -
from light to light

Re: 6th and Last?
Thu, March 5, 2009 - 9:02 AMExciting isn't it. Change is the built into the fabric of reality. Our resistance to it only increases our suffering. I don't think there is any way or reason to predict the direction of the shifts, only to embrace it and let go of our attachments to the way things are.

I am a factory of love..
whether it matters, or not.
Blowing bubbles,
weaving this consciousness
while I still can.
Fuck the enigma's
The fear
all the scared people who don't want to leave their rotting homes.
Solve et coagula,
with a gas can.
